Why Choose a Water Pump with BLDC Motor?
The water pump can transmit liquid or increase the pressure of the liquid, and a machine which can turn the mechanical energy of the original electric motor into the liquid energy to be pumped out. The BLDC water pump adopts the DC 24V to drive the brushless DC motor. The brushless DC motor drives the impeller so that the liquid pressure can be increased to transmit the liquid.
The AC micro-motor water pump realizes commutation via 50Hz frequency changes. The motor's rotating speed is slow, and there are no electronic components within the AC water pump. Apart from resistance to high temperature, the volume and power of AC micro-motor water pump are five to ten folds as high as that of the BLDC motor water pump.
Brushed DC motor water pump
When the water pump is working, the coil and the commutator rotate, but the magnetic steel and the carbon brush does not rotate. The alternating changes of the coil in the current direction are accomplished via rotation of the electric motor, the commutator and electric brush. As long as you click on the rotating carbon brush, abrasion is unavoidable. When the water pump operates at certain speed, the carbon brush abrasion interval will be widened, and the sound will be intensified accordingly. After operating for several hundred hours continuously, the carbon brush cannot realize its commutation.
BLDC motor water pump
The BLDC water pump is made up of the BLDC electric motor plus the impeller. The axis of the electric motor and the impeller are connected. The BLDC motor water pump adopts the electronic commutation and requires no carbon brush commutation. The high-performance abrasion-resistant porcelain shaft and porcelain axis sleeves are employed. The axis sleeves avoid the abrasion through integration between axis sleeves and magnetic iron via injection molding.
Therefore, the performance of the high speed BLDC motor water pump is greatly enhanced. The stator part and the rotor part of the BLDC motor are fully separated from each other. The stator and the circuit board adopt the epoxy resin for embedment to ensure 100% waterproof. The stator part adopts the permanent magnet, which has a low noise, small volume, and steady performance. Through the stator winding, various required parameters can be regulated. Additionally, the wide voltage operation is allowed.
Strengths: Long life span. The life span is below 35dB. Applicable to hot water circulation. The stator and electric board part of the electric motor adopt the epoxy resin for embedment, and are fully isolated from the stator. Meanwhile, underwater installation is permitted for being fully waterproof. The axis center of the water pump is made up of high-performance porcelain axis, which has a high precision and a strong resistance to shock.
Matters requiring attention in using the BLDC motor water pump:
1. No ferromagnetic impurities and particles entering the magnetic transmitter or the bearing friction pair.
2. Do not use beyond the rated voltage.
3. Prevent dry friction and try to reduce the time of empty rotation.
